British army 1940 leather jerkin, issued to British forces. This jerkin has been painstakingly researched and put together using the best materials available today to recreate the original leather jerkin. Exact in every detail, even to the point of using offcuts of leather in certain places which is exactly what they did during the war. We have originals here which are exactly the same.

The brown leather is heavy duty but supple at the same time, giving the feel of the original, and the heavy cotton canvas lining is probably better than the wool linings of 1940, which are subject to moth.
